The Ambassadors are the heart and soul of The Chamber. The Chamber Ambassadors are friendly volunteer members who assist at Chamber events and help welcome new and fellow members. The Ambassadors meet regularly to help at Chamber functions and volunteer for many duties as well as help retain, strengthen and enhance member involvement. Becoming an Ambassador is a fun way to meet new contacts and engage within The Chamber membership. If you like networking or meeting new people, this committee is always recruiting current Chamber members.

Serving as an Ambassador provides you with an enormous opportunity to introduce yourself to many new people and establish profitable business contacts. Ambassadors regularly visit new members, attend ribbon cuttings, grand openings and help people connect at the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce events.

Ambassadors are required to attend
A monthly ambassador meeting, typically on the first Wednesday of the month at 4 PM. Meetings alternate between the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce, and a member's location.
And participate in a minimum of two functions each month

Ambassadors play a vital role within the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce, often serving as the first point of contact to new business members. Ambassadors meet quarterly and are updated with a committee e-mail that is sent out weekly with events, dates and times for participation. Ambassadors are also icebreakers, people who break the ‘quiet’ who help get new members motivated and excited. Not everyone is a master networker, but with the help of an Ambassador, even the newest member feels welcomed. We are always looking for friendly, energetic volunteers to assist with these duties.
