Here's what some of the duties consist of. Confirm reservations for transportation using telephones, faxes, mail, and computers · Prepare customer invoices and accept payments · Answer inquiries regarding information such as schedules, services, procedures, and policies · Assemble and issue required paperwork for drivers · Determine whether vehicles are available on dates requested by customers · Provide information to clients on availability and pricing · Confer with customers to determine their service requirements and preferences · Make and confirm reservations. · Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested Must be able to run all basic computer programs, including Excel, Quick books knowledge will be a bonus. Must be able to work in a fast-paced office environment, be a self-starter and work well in a team environment and also be able to work on your own. Previous ground transportation operations experience will be a Plus. *answering phones so phone sales experience is important *To be able to send out quotes via email, so understanding of the vehicles, rates, how our hourly rate system works, and knowledge of the region is super important *input information into the reservation system *schedule chauffeurs (when the chauffeur manager is not available) *printing of paperwork for chauffeurs *To be able to prioritize your daily task list *To understand that we are in the Service business - We are Of Service to others.
